The owner of this Samoens two-bedroom apartment used for rental income wanted to spruce up his kitchen at the request of an incoming tenant. The budget was reasonably tight as was the required time frame.
As the space was small and the style of the apartment relatively simple, we went for a modern, clean look but introduced timber features such as the work surface to add character. Candia Peterson designed the kitchen, she and in-house builder Andrew Clark collected all units and appliances to save on delivery time and the entire job was completed to the owner’s satisfaction in the space of one week.

This was a full refurbishment designed and supervised by Candia Peterson. The building, an historic farmhouse in the village of Les Gets was divided into several apartments. The owners had acquired the two largest apartments and converted them in to a large three-story unit that had the feel of an independent house inside. The eight-bedroom property was successfully run as a luxury catered chalet for three seasons prior to it being sold. The current owners rent it out on a self-catered basis when they are not using it for their own family.
